All your tray applets are from gnome or xfce ?
The battery and notes applets are from XFCE. Dropbox, parcellite, nm-applet are not, but they are not applets anyway, so can be used with any panel or tray.

I think it's one of the options in the Workaround submenu in Bespin configuration window (the "Normal itemviews" if I remember well)

And since I made a new change a few minutes ago, new desktop screenshot, Ubuntu Unity inspired:

Currently I'm testing Bluetile, a xmonad fork that integrates incredible well in Gnome. I would even say it's one of the most underrated window managers.
I can recommend it to everyone who is looking for a Tiling Desktop Environment. Exactly this is Gnome in combination with Bluetile.

It's tint2, for 1320px then conky with dark gray triangle image at the beginning so that it looks like that. Icons by me based on Feanza icon theme.

First time posting in one of these! This is my new netbook, which made for a nice opportunity for me to learn how to use Awesome. I've been using Awesome for 2 days now, and after customizing it to my liking, I'm considering switching to it on my desktop machine (from GNOME and Emerald - kind of a big difference, right? )
I can't believe how much screen real estate I have this way, despite the absurdly small resolution; I think I'll love it even more on my 2-screened, 3200x1080 desktop

The GTK is called Divergence IV, available here.
And yes, the ASUS Eee PC 701 has a 7" screen - quite tiny. Still quite legible, though, despite my small fonts.

Using hacks to rc.xml found in this thread: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=93126.

Just finished porting my netbook's Awesome config over to my desktop machine, and adding a few extra (behavioral, not so much visual) features... It seems that a tiling window manager is just as much of a pleasure to use as it is on a tiny netbook screen
Be warned: the images are ~3 MB PNGs.
There are still quite a few aspects of Awesome that I'll be exploring some more. Exciting

I updated my theme, added tint2 and reduced my conky config to just MPD stuff.
wallpaper from explodingdog.com, Envy Code R is the font. Custom vim colors and .Xdefaults.
Supergirl: But fortunately I printed out everything I could find, not just the beginner's guide.
Supergirl: I printed out internet.

Since you are unwilling to read the rules, I'll post them here for you:
