acoples wrote:Wow that is really cool, how did you get that to work, you just "cast" pekwm --replace or something?
Very nice config!
I did a script named Pekwm.sh with this inside in the folder /HOME/.Kde4/env
KDEWM=/usr/bin/pekwm
then I gave to it execution permissions with "chmod a+x pekwm.sh" and that's all

I assume that's conky you're using? If so, could you post your config?

I love it.
The problem with coming to this thread is that I'm trying to get inspiration for my own look, but would never want to steal from someone else. So I end up no closer to forming my own look, and end up just feeling all the more disappointed with what I have. ☹
OK, I'll stop whining now.

it's not really stealing...imitation is the sincerest form of flattery ain't it?
I got most of my ideas for fluxbox initially from Hag linux
http://hag-linux.eu.org/screenshots/2
in fact all four variations of nFluxOS use a modified version of the Hag desktop including hag-exit-fluxbox
http://multidistro.com/
the best app AZHag made for the hag desktop was hag-exit-fluxbox, ulubione (most-popular menu adder), and all the config stuff

Gnome 2.32, indicator-appmenu on the top.
Mint-menu and dockbarx on the left. Thought I would try it as I don't like losing my screen real-estate.
Running the lxqt-git repository. If you would like to help cover costs, consider using using my referral link to digital ocean for your next VPS deployment.

I try xft:monaco on my Xresources but that doesn't work.
xfontsel says:
Warning: Cannot convert string "xft:monaco:pixelsize=7.5" to type FontStruct
