Monitor Home Network Usage

I am living in a student house with 5 other people. We are going over our monthly usage constantly and want to cut back, but people don't know how much they are using.
Is there a program that will tell me how much everyone (including myself) is downloading.
All other computers are running windows and using wifi, and our router doesn't support 3rd part firmware with those kind of features.

Two thoughts.  First, maybe you can adapt one of these: http://sectools.org/sniffers.html tools.
Second, If the other systems are all Windows, we can be pretty certain they are spambots and are using the majority of the bandwidth tongue

Re: Monitor Home Network Usage

Your router probably doesn't support port mirroring either, which means you can't just sniff traffic from your computer. You either have to get a router that'll let you run something like dd-wrt (or at least offers port mirroring), or set up your computer as a network bridge between the router and everyone else and use iptraf. The first option is much simpler, especially with wifi.
