Web Portal For Network Users

in some hotspots, there are web portals in which you must login to get internet access, and since they work on LAN's, you dont need to setup VPN/PPP/etc, you simply login with your designated username and password and internet gets enabled for that computer using its ip address + mac address, i wanted to set that up for my own small network but i couldnt find any application which does it that was free, or could run on linux. so i created my own.

it uses mod_python for its website, and mysql as a backend. i wanted to ask the community if i should upload it on sourceforge or somewhere else. i'll post more shots of the app if anyone is interested for it.

the app currently runs on arch, but will work on any other linux distribution.
