Unable to scan with HP All-in-One PSC 1200

Hello,
To start sorry for my very bad english :S..

Today I tried to make a scan of a document with my HP PSC 1200 (works great on Ubuntu), but needer sane or xsane detected im and make it work. So I went to the Arch wiki and I fallow all the steps :

Installed : sane, xsane, hplip (and all the deps).
Configured : /etc/sane.d/dll.conf --> Added hpaio (uncommented).

and when i do "sudo sane-find-scanner" he shows me this :
found USB scanner (vendor=0x03f0 [Hewlett-Packard], product=0x2f11 [psc 1200 series]) at libusb:007:002

and when I do "scanimage -L" he shows me this:
device `hpaio:/usb/psc_1200_series?serial=CN3CRF513D5H' is a Hewlett-Packard psc_1200_series all-in-one

So everything iis detected and it's great. BUT, when I try to scan something with xsane he shows me a error message saying (trying to translate from portuguese) :
Falha ao abrir dispositivo 'hpaio:/usb/psc_1200_series?serial=CN3CRF513D5H'
Erro durante operação de E/S com o dispositivo.

-- Failure when opening device 'hpaio:/usb/psc_1200_series?serial=CN3CRF513D5H'
-- Error during I/O operation with the device

Even the HP Setup Assistant cannot install it...

Is there anyway so I can solve the problem ?

Thanks in advance
Luis Da Costa

Re: Unable to scan with HP All-in-One PSC 1200

Did you try running the scanimage command as root?

Are you using the "hplip" driver, not "hpijs"??, because the former can do scanning and the latter cannot.
