Atheros WIFI card freezing my system when try use Kismet,Airodump-ng

hi i got install in my laptop Atheroswifi card, and all working fine, from 2 yares, but yesterday i try use kismet and after start kismet, my computer was freezing, and CAPS LOCK led was blinking... a do restart, and try use airodump-ng, and same, computer freezing and CAPS LOCK blinking. So i have no idea what wrong, i think problem is in new kernel ?? how i can try what wrong, and fine them some solution ???

Kernel panic. Look on forum, there is several threads on this. And in bugtracker there is a fix. You will need to patch kernel.
Or just wait for .37 when it will be fixed.

i download patch http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/ … 37-rc7.bz2 ( i think be fine ??) but after uncompres

patch -p1 patch-2.6.37-rc     

nothing happend, so how i can patched existing kernel ??
