[SOLVED] CO.CC and nameserver setup?

Does anyone have an idea on how I should go about configuring a nameserver using the CO.CC service? (sorry, I'm totally new to this topic)

I did an extensive look around Google, and I didn't really find anything that would help a server noob such as myself. Basically, I want to be able to associate my server with the CO.CC domain that has been given to me.

I did get a chance to look at the bind page on the wiki [1], but I didn't quite understand how the two correlate.

Also, CO.CC gives me the option to either use an existing nameserver (probably won't help me, as it requires a .com, .net, or .org extension), use a zone file configuration (such as CNAME), or simply redirect the URL (which is what I don't want). From my understanding, the zone configuration looks to be the best option in this situation. Could someone point me in the right direction as to how I would set this up? smile

Re: [SOLVED] CO.CC and nameserver setup?

Nevermind, I solved it by:
1) Choosing option 2, "Zone records"
2) Setting the host to "foobar.co.cc"
3) Setting the type to "A"
4) Setting the value to my IP address
