problem loading some flash websites

Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum, i have been reading through the post and its been very very helpful but there if one thing that i cant seem to figure out. I can't seem to get the pandora.com site to fully load, i have tried it in namork, chromium, and surf and still nothing i search the forum but i couldn't find any solutions. i installed swfdec and swfdec-mozilla and still it wont load, i get at the very top left of the page what looks like it would be some kind of MAC addr or ipv6 address same thing with kegl.com i cant get that to load either. i would really appreciate if anyone could help me with this. And i look forward to being a active member in this community i love arch linux

Have you installed flashplugin? If you're running arch x86_64, consider using flashplugin-prerelease from the AUR instead.

I just noticed vimeo in firefox 3.6.13 doesn't play for me.  I haven't tried the prerelease, thanks for pointing that out.

Thanks for your reply Snowknight, i tried the flashplugin-prerelease from the AUR and it still didn't work, i wonder why I used to be able to watch you tube videos and flash websites with no problem and now it wont even load the page for me. Any other suggestions?

I'm not familiar with namork but I assume it uses webkit -- as do chrome and surf.  Maybe this issue is releated to webkit.  Do you have firefox installed? If so, can you test with it.

Namaroka = Firefox (just a different name for logo/licensing issues)

In fact the names we use for Firefox in our repos are the actual "development" names of Firefox itself.

Ahh I didn't interpret the misspell.  Then he could try:

 firefox -safe-mode 

Now I'm starting to reach  :-/

yeah sorry about that I was kinda in a rush to type all that out. I don't have access to my laptop at the moment but I'll give that a try thanks steve

This is whats happening so far, I installed arch on vmware player did everything exactly like how i installed on my laptop except this time i installed libgnomeui and that seems to have let me access flash sites so im going to try it on my laptop when i get home.


--ok well it didnt work on my laptop, this is very frustrating

any other suggestions? please
