Partition problem while installation

While trying to set up partition from Arch Linux installation CD(using cfdisk) itself the following error showed up-

> Bad primary partition 2: partition ends in final partial cylinder

What went wrong and how do I fix it?

Re: Partition problem while installation

In my experience cfdisk is way too conservative about what constitutes a valid partition table.  fdisk will allow you to edit your partitions.

Re: Partition problem while installation

creating partitions using GParted and then installing Arch is the simplest way to do it. GParted gives you a GUI interface that shows you how your partitions are lined up etc.
