Hi all,
I have a very old laptop. HD is broken in it. Is it possible to install Arch on a USB stick and run without a HD?
Thanks,

Take a look at CTKArchLive which can be loaded to a flash device and is fully arch-based.
The laptop must boot from usb devices to do what you desire.
The latest CTK download has an english option.
A very nice "live" OS.
Prediction...This year will be a very odd year!

Yes, it's possible.
Do you want to run it as a liveUSB or a normal install?

Plug in the USB and install arch to that harddrive, think everything is there in the wiki https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Install_to_usb

Thanks Larsson. Arch wiki is truly great!

Np, when you are done and with the installation and the problem solved, add [Solved] to the topic so people will know
