Thanks. Feel free to post any technical corrections in the comments. I'm not new to Linux but relatively new to Arch. I've been using it for about a year, so I am far from an expert.

The most important part (IMHO) of that article is the last section 
Allan-Volunteer on the (topic being discussed) mailn lists. You never get the people who matters attention on the forums.

It feels like a cross between "Beware of the dog" and the warnings they put on coffee cups: Be careful, it's hot! :-)
