[KDE4.6] cannot shutdown/reboot properly

Hello,
I can't shutdown or reboot my machine from KDE. K->Leave->Shutdown quits KDE and then tty1 stays shown. So I need to login and finally after that shutdown my ntb.
Arch is completely up-to-date.

How do you start KDE? Do you get any errors in the log files?

Re: [KDE4.6] cannot shutdown/reboot properly

I have kdm daemon in rc.conf. No errors in /var/log/xorg.0.log. In /var/log/kdm.log is this:
klauncher(3807) kdemain: No DBUS session-bus found. Check if you have started the DBUS server.
It's odd because dbus is in daemons array in rc.conf and is running (checked with 'ps aux')

Check .pacnew files (/etc/pam.d/login etc) and whether consolekit set an active session or not by ck-list-sessions. Also you might try to delete kdecache in /var/tmp.

Re: [KDE4.6] cannot shutdown/reboot properly

Seems this is machine specific.  See this thread for the open kernel bug
https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=111474
I have 5 machines with 2.6.37 installed.  Shutdown works fine on 4 of them but just hangs on the 5th (a Dell Inspiron 1525)

Re: [KDE4.6] cannot shutdown/reboot properly

I have no .pacnew files in /etc/pam.d directory. Also I deleted /var/tmp.
I'm sure it's not a kernel issue. Halt/reboot/shutdown commands work. I found when KDE logout me 100% cpu is used by X process (ps command shows the process as [x], I suppose X is zombie?). I can't kill the process, killall X or kill -9 <pid>.

Just for sure I'll downgrade kernel to .36.
