Arch on a Dell D800

Hi,

I just recently purchased a dell d800.  My previous laptop, a thinkpad a31 which ran arch, died.  I am debating on whether to install arch or crunchbang on this laptop.

Anyone have any experience setting up and running arch on the dell d800?  Any pitfalls or inconveinences?

Follow the sticky called Laptops which run Arch and see what hardware might or might not be compatible with Arch or Linux in general. Better yet, simply install Arch and then go about figuring out what works or not. Its more fun that way. OTOH, you might be lucky and everything would work OOTB.

Unfortunately, we cannot create a thread for every laptop model out there.
