This is probably related to https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=112758, but my screen isn't distorted like the other users report. It's simply not detecting the correct resolution anymore. I also want to add that this is a concern before X is even started. Has anyone else had to force a resolution with nouveau after the last update?
EDIT: I suppose I could add video= to my kernel command line and added modelines to xorg.conf, but just downgrading kernel26 (and kernel26-headers) seemed simpler. Nothing else was downgraded, and that resolved resolution problems everywhere.
I should be running at 1920x1080.

Really, I can understand the Supreme Court's rulings. Afterall, corporations are people just like us, with love and feelings, hopes and dreams, and a limited lifespan to do it all in... oh wait, nevermind. I was thinking of same-sex marriage.

This seems to be an issue with the nouveau kernel drm module. Please ask the upstream devs in #nouveau irc channel. This is probably a regression you should report then to the kernel bug tracker.
