Has anyone got this to work. I installed Libreoffice at work and it imported PDF's nicely and allowed me to edit them. However, I cannot get this function to work on my Arch box at home. It will export a doc to a PDF fine but not import as at work.
Thanks

What OS at work ? What version of LibreOffice at work and at home?
3.3.0.4-2 is in testing. Maybe you need to use that version, in case 3.3.0.4-1 (in extra) does not provide the functionality.
There's no such thing as a stupid question, but there sure are a lot of inquisitive idiots !

Have you installed libreoffice-extension-pdfimport at home?
It works for me in libreoffice 3.3.0.4-1.

I tried the pdf import extension at home but it would not intstall, just error. The office version on windows worked perfectly with no extension added, but that was probably the final version when the current Arch version is not the final on yet.

LibreOffice from extra is RC4 but also the final version.
From PKGBUILD:
_LOver=3.3.0.4 # = 3.3.0-RC4 = FINAL !!!

I successfully installed the PDF Import 1.0.4 extension three days ago in libreoffice 3.3.0.4-1 (german version).
The extension was downloaded from http://extensions.services.openoffice.o … /pdfimport via the browser and then installed with the Extension Manager.

why not "pacman -S libreoffice-extension-pdfimport" ?

why not "pacman -S libreoffice-extension-pdfimport" ?
Wow! I completely missed all these extension packages, being used to directly download openoffice extensions since years.
Definitely worth a try. Thanks!
