Change password on a Microsoft PPTP VPN

Hi,
I have been successfully using pptpclient to connect to a Windows VPN for some time now, but recently my password expired and I get this:

vitor@agilaz:~> sudo pon agila
Password:
Using interface ppp0
Connect: ppp0 <--> /dev/pts/5
MS-CHAP authentication failed: E=648 Password expired
CHAP authentication failed
Connection terminated.

I know in Windows, at this point you can change this password and then connect normally, but I couldn't find a way to do this in Linux.
All I found about this (after quite a bit o googling) was

There may also be an opportunity to change the password, but this is not well understood here.
