polipo no longer starts as a daemon

Hi,

polipo used to work as a daemon. It got updated today (looks like it made its way to community repo), but no longer starts using /etc/rc.d/polipo start.

It's configured as explained in the wiki article (with a "polipo" unprivileged user).

Any hint?

Don't ask me why, but it looks like everything's back to normal without doing anything.
