crazy mouse

i have a toshiba laptop (M100) with a AlpsPS/2 ALPS GlidePoint, the touchpad mouse gets crazy randomly.. very frequently. This it's error via dmesg

I'm facing similar issues with a Trackpoint on a Thinkpad Edge. I'm hoping this is the solution.
