I've been trying to install this myself from source so I can then understand how it is on the system and maybe make a pkgbuild for it, but it does not follow the ./configure make make install procedure I know and uses cmake and various interacting scripts. I'e tried an run into errors:
An ANT interface appears when I run sudo make install, and I get an error later on: CMake Error at src/cpp/desktop/cmake_install.cmake:64 (FILE):
file INSTALL cannot find "/lib/libQtCore.so.4".
The project page is here:
http://www.rstudio.org/
It's an IDE frontend to R, the only one I've seen to date that boasts Sweave and TeX functions, although that may also need looking at as Arch installs the tree in a different place to the others. Seems to be good Fedora and Ubuntu Support.
Hopefully someone can help me with this, I did try and do it myself but can't get any furthur than the error I got, theres not a lot installed to /lib/. although that file is present elsewhere on my Arch system, in /usr/lib, /opt/mendeleydesktop/lib.
Thanks,
Ben.

This looks like an interesting program and I am a fan of R, so I'm going to see if I can get this to compile myself. Can't promise anything though.

This thread already exists just 2 threads below this one and you even replied in it. What was the need in creating another one?
