Abandon a game works in openbox, but not in dwm

There is this game (starfilledsky , sorry it's commercial) which takes / blocks mouse and keyboard while running. It should release them when Alt+Tab is pressed.
This works well in openbox and I can switch to other windows. But it doesn't work in dwm (wmfs/i3/scrotwm).

Any idea why and how to solve it?

probably because Alt-Tab is one of the keybindings that the tiling wm uses. Try to see if there is a conflict in the keybinding.

No, it's none the keybindings dwm uses here.

It's strange. The game seems to release the mouse and keyboard and pauses, but dwm doesn't to catch them.

I've tried to add the keybinding to dwm (Alt+Tab) to change windows. The keybinding works with 'normal' windows, but it didn't help with the game.
