Mobile Media Converter out of date

I want to point out that prejudice Mobile Media Converter (mmc) is out of date. Since we are at version 1.7 and finally returned to their compatibility with the video in youtube, I hope will be updated as soon as possible!
Link of tar.gz; http://www.miksoft.net/products/mmc-older/
Link on AUR: http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=31686
Thank's!

Re: Mobile Media Converter out of date

This package has been orphaned. Unless you (or someone else) adopts it, it won't be updated...

Re: Mobile Media Converter out of date

I am not able to update it. Is there a similar program to convert videos from youtube with a simple graphical interface?

Re: Mobile Media Converter out of date

WinFF could convert it once it was a local file (both use ffmpeg). There are many youtube downloaders out there - google is your friend

Re: Mobile Media Converter out of date

We are not having threads for AUR packages that are out of date. Flag it and the maintainer will get to it *when he/she has the time*.

In the meanwhile, if you cannot live without it, try compiling from source.
