Mine is really nothing all that exciting. Just Gnome with an Archlinux fanboy background.

Re: March 2011 Screenshots

An (admittedly heavily staged :P) screenshot of what I'd like to see my desktop move to, displaying mostly applications I've recently discovered.

ej120s.jpg

From left to right, top to bottom:

tkexec as launcher / urxvt, twicl / urxvt, tiny info script / tkexec for mpd control /
wily with edbrowse, investigating latest distrowatch news / 9term, remote mail reading with nmh /
urxvt, remote news reading with trn4 (only curses app on screen!) /
9term, local mail reading with coma /
borderless urxvt showing logs with tailf(1)

behind the scenes: mcwm, zsh, xbindkeys

The compact font in urxvt is "5x13", a hack on the Best X11 Font Ever(TM) "6x13", which I should publish really soon now.

Could you share the wallpaper as well?  Very clean look.

Interesting setup, nice to see something a little different. And thanks for linking to the mcwm page; I remember reading about it a while back when the author had just released a few snapshots of the code, but forgot to download it and couldn't remember the name of the project to find it again.. yikes

I've seen young people waste their time reading books about sensitive vampires. It's kinda sad. But you say it's not the end of the world... Well, maybe it is!

Anoknusa, how did you get the global menu in KDE?

Re: March 2011 Screenshots

@ANOKNUSA

I will update my GitHub this weekend with all my stuff mate. I will put the ascii art file in as well. I think I found it elsewhere and modified a bit.

Anyway another update. Showing love for some fat borders.

tN3V6Mw

CWM on OpenBSD as usual. Font is a quick mod of Terminus.
