Firmware for Dlink dwa-525
.I've been searching for a couple days now and can't find any firmware for a wireless card I'm trying to set up.any helpwith this would be appreciated.

If your card is supported, the firmware should be provided by the linux-firmware package, on which the kernel depends, if I'm not mistaken.
Either way, your first stop is dmesg to see if the card is recognised and whether it finds the firmware or not.
