Re: How to. Forum username change

My western feeling for names tells me:
- leo is a male name
- lea is a female name

What happened?

Lol... sincerely... im in plans of a gender reassignation because i've been diagnosed with gender disforia, and so, in the recent months i've accepted this fact of my inner self, my inner conciousness or whatever you understand as the person "using" this body of mine, so i'll be taking this DIFFICULT path of self acceptance, and body gender/image reassignation. Knowing that not everybody takes this seriously or even care to understand that this is nothing that one suddendly feels, but is something that was inside me from the moment i can remember, as a child, and always with me, thi sfeeling of living someone else life, and since a few months back, i started to accept and listen to myself, and actually i can't even refer to me as a man to the close ones that know my condition.

Hope to not disturb anyone and to continue to help anyone that needs help, a tip or just talk about nothing special, be it linux or life related big_smile

This may be one of those rare cases where a username change might actually be justified. tongue

Re: How to. Forum username change

I think @litemotiv is right.

Her (@leo2501)  nickname should be changed. Altough nicknames are not important in digital life; this change should help her to face the facts in real life. Also i think this forum title should deleted, as has a private information about a member. My 2 cents...

I agree. In this case though, it could be equally (or more?) rewarding for Lea to create a new online persona with her own name, so i would advise to go with that to avoid any trouble with the forum policy of not changing usernames... smile

Re: How to. Forum username change

LOL, im really really touch for your acceptance of what i'm facing smile is really really cool when you feel that the other person really cares about what you are feeling or passing through big_smile and it's even more enjoying when you get it from people who has no relation to this, i mean, i have another accounts in gender disphoria and it's really great to not feel alone... so... THANKS big_smile
