We need a lot more information that what you have given here to be even begin to help you.

well the problem is that i haven't tried any other methods on this and i don't have any other information to share or outputs rather than when i connect my camera or my usb flash i see a message "the media can't be mounted.", just that.

In that case you need to search the wiki. Search for "udev" and you should get a bunch of rules that you can add to mount external drives. Pick the appropriate ones for your external drives.
There are also other options like devmon which uses udisks (i believe) that can help. berbae wrote a bash 4 script that is also quite neat. Try them out and see what works for you.

udiskie is also good.

My udsks script might help you, if you have dmenu, udev and udisks installed.
(Replace the notify-send commands with echoes if you don't have libnotify and notification-daemon installed.)

thanks, i installed libnotify and added the notification daemon, it works perfectly.

I'm improved the messaging from my udsks script, so you'll know now why an unmount fails.
Also, I've dropped notify-send in favour of zenity, though you can easily change it to use another notification program like dzen2 (which I prefer). This last change came about to avoid the problems caused by the implementation of Gnome3 and GTK3.
