Change in forum staff

Hello all.

Just wanted to drop a quick note to announce a couple of changes in the ArchLinux forum staff.  Effective immediately, myself and Tomk will no longer be performing as forum administrators, having both chosen to step down due to availability.

In our wake rises a new admin - all welcome Inxsible to the role.  I'm certain he will be more able to meet the needs of the community than I or Tom have been lately.

Is this a Canadian social club for people interested in computers? I'm lost again. All this talk about overlords is a bit strange. Is this a science fiction convention?

Re: Change in forum staff

Is my post #13 an example of trolling or starting a controversial topic, under sections 12 and 13 of the forum etiquette rules? Perhaps, it is an example of necrobumping, since it is an old post. Or is it thread hijacking?

Could someone point me to the use of humor in forums posts and how it is supposed to be displayed, so I can gain further clarity on the subject? I couldn't find it in the forum etiquette section? How about attempts at humor, both failed and successful?

vegan, I think you're so funny that your prodigious talents in this area should not be confined to random posts in some linux distro forum. Go and get yourself a blog NOW, so that the whole of the intarwebz can enjoy your awesome witticisms.

Re: Change in forum staff

I think me that an old thread has sprung to life.  As there have not been any changes to staff of late, I think I'll go ahead and close this ...  for now.  I hope this is not an omen.

On a related note, I cannot believe it has only been a little over a year since I accepted the invitation to moderate these forums.  It seems longer, somehow.
Anyway, it is an honor I intend to continue for the foreseeable future.
