Hi,
I'm using pm-utils (pm-suspend) to suspend my netbook (Samsung N220). When I want to resume my computer, I've got a blank screen and I can't do nothing (I've tried to change tty, reboot it, nothing works).
I also tried to remove the autodetect hook in mkinitcpio.conf but it didn't do nothing. The kernel.log and pm-suspend.log are clean. According to the kernel log file, the resume isn't detected.
Someone has an idea about this problem ?
Thanks,
Oliparcol

Which kernel are you using? 2.6.38.2 and 2.6.37.6 (AFAIK) have a bug on resume which you may want to check out.

Yeah, first thing I did...
I'm using the kernel26 package which is the kernel version 2.6.37.5. I will try the kernel26-lts package, see if something change...

I also use a Samsung N220 and found two ways to avoid this issue:
intel_idle.max_cstate=0 as a kernel boot parameter
disable CPU power saving in BIOS settings

It's a known bug (https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=21952). Apparently, it's possible to solve the problem with a max_cstate at 3. I tried 0, 1, 2 and 3 with kernel 2.6.38.2 and it doesn't work.
