Ethernet Pro 100 Problems Recognizing

I have a fairly ancient laptop here and I decided that the only truly just thing would be to install ArchLinux on the thing...

I'm a pretty big amateur when it comes to Linux but even with my limited skills I've come to the conclusion that the system is not recognizing the network card.

Am I missing some sort of driver set up that would allow Arch to recognize the network card?

As the title suggests it is the Ethernet Pro 100 card.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

How did you try to install it, with which ISO?
You'd need the linux-firmware package, else the driver (e100 module) wouldn't work.

That can be ambiguous.  Could you post the output of lspci and lspci -n   ???
