[SOLVED] .xinitrc won't start WM

I just made a stupid mistake. I added a new startup process to .xinitrc but stupidly forgot to background it (&) so my window manager no longer loads. Now when I finish booting I'm stuck staring at a black screen. How can I get back to a terminal in order to change .xinitrc?

And I fixed it. Should've google first. Ctrl-Alt-F2 got me back in.

Re: [SOLVED] .xinitrc won't start WM

1) Ctrl + Alt + F(2-6)
2) login
3) Edit .xinitrc to the way you want it.
4) logout (optional)
5) login at tty1
