PunBB with lighttpd?

Is anyone running PunBB with lighttpd? If so, what packages do you need besides lighttpd? Thanks.

Re: PunBB with lighttpd?

You shouldn't need that much.  Php(already with sqlite support).  Is there more to it?  PunBB is pretty simple.

Yes, I run it.
you need lighttpd, php-cgi, some sql database (I believe punbb supports mysql, postgres, and sqlite), and the punbb download. I also use eaccelerator and fastcgi (prespawn) to make it extra zippy..zing!

phrakture & medicated; thanks. cactus, I couldn't find php-cgi & sqlite in the repository (not found in sync db). Do I have to compile it? Could you kindly provide your configuration files (lighttpd, php-cgi & sql)? Thanks.

Re: PunBB with lighttpd?

Lighttpd for both ssl and non-ssl

disregard the ssl portion for the most part, as there is a new way to do it (see the ssl section commented out in the lighttpd.conf file).

I dont use sqlite, so I cant give you much help there. I just use mysql.
php-cgi is not in the repos yet. I have it in my personal repo, and ..*checks aur*....ack. never uploaded it to aur. Anyway, the pkgbuild for php-cgi is here and the binary is here.
