I would like some feedback on clustering using Arch... have you ever tried it? Is it hard to setup?
Every post will be appreciated, thank you in advance

I'd like to know about this too. Coincidentally I need some horsepower and I would also like to setup a cluster between 3 or 4 machines.
1 Main Server (Arch Linux)
1 Load Balancer (Arch Linux)
2 Desktops (Ubuntu Desktop)
Going to go ahead and try this right now. Also, does anyone know about adding openCL to the equation?
The main server will have the web server on it (lighttpd), and it will use the load balancer to distribute php/python between the desktops & web server. Load balancer will also act as a mongo arbiter.

Debian and Ubuntu seem to have an 'ad hoc' tool, KestrelHPC (http://kestrelhpc.sourceforge.net/), I will try it one of these days and I will try it also on Arch eventually.
After that, I will try PelicanHPC (http://pareto.uab.es/mcreel/PelicanHPC/ … orial.html).
These two project are, in my opinion, very interesting indeed and definitely worth supporting, and worth a try

thank you! I will give it a try as soon as possible (one of these days)
Even if I searched a lot in this period of time, I didn't found anything noob-friendly enough for me
