Hi,
Since lately (perhaps after a file update) each time after running rkhunter, I get:
Warning: The command '/usr/bin/rkhunter' has been replaced and is not a script:
/usr/bin/rkhunter: POSIX shell script, ASCII text executable, with very long lines
The second line is the same output, which I get from "file /usr/bin/rkhunter" as root. There used to be problems with rkhunter and file, but non of them concerns file v5.06... I am also pretty sure that the system hasn't been rooted and, yes, I did run rkhunter --propupd and reinstalled the package several times.
So I wonder is it only me, or other people are also seeing this?
Thanks.

Same here. I believe that this is due to an update in the file command.
