patching mac80211 kernel module

Hi there;

I've a "RT73 chipset" based wireless dongle and -as I've done it before in Ubuntu Maverick- the mac80211 wirelss stack should be patched to fully support packet injection. I did it in ubuntu by downloading, patching and recompiling the compat-wireless tarball. Here in Arch Linux we know that all package sources could be downloaded from ABS and tweaked to personal needs.
The problem is that I've no idea of mac80211 package name to download the source code from ABS repositories. I just searched "copmpat-wireless" and "mac80211" in repositories and also searched the mac80211 filenames with "pkgfile" tool; but nothing found. sad I'll appreciate any tips. smile

The wireless drivers are included in the kernel. If you want to patch mac80211, download compat-wireless from the AUR.

Hmmm. Tnx dear. Just for personal awareness; wot abt tweaking kernel itself? Does it do the job in this case?
