Hoping someone can help me with this. After updates from testing repo (Will I ever learn) with the kernel26.38 the boot stops with table not found message.

Booting with options noacpi noapic nolapic nomodeset gets me past this error, but then hangs waiting for uevents to be processed

Updated system today and got this error. Was able to get the system to boot completely by using only "acpi=off"

Re: System hangs at startup after update - ERST : Table is not found

Well it seems the Gentoo'ers have the same problem:

Flashing my BIOS to the newest Beta also fixed it for me (Gigabyte MA-790FXT-UD5P)!

Hope i could help a little!

Greetings, Armadillux

Flashing BIOS fixed the problem for me also (Gigabyte GA-MA785GMT-UD2H v1.0) only had to upgrade to newest stable (F9) not the beta.

The same happened to me yesterday with a different message (plz, see image). I tried booting with apic option and got past this error for a few times, but now it doesn't work anymore.

Besides flashing the BIOS, does anyone knows a solution this issue?
