[SOLVED] How can I modify the ArchLinux Installation ISO

Hello,everyone.

I have kept attempting to install a single ArchLinux system on my jailbroken CR-48. But various problems really suffered me.

There are two major issues.
First, the UEFI BIOS stops grub to boot up;
Second, the SSD disables cfdisk.

Due to the similar hardware to Macbook Air, I've found the solutions after searching tons of pages:
First, replace grub with grub2-efi-i386;
Second, replace cfdisk with gptfdisk.

While I attempted to install ArchLinux via a USB offline, there left only one option for me: Remaster the installation iso.
Unfortunately, I really can't follow this introduction: Remastering the Install ISO
It's too general for a newbie.

I really hope somebody can post a guide with specific steps. And it will be much better to provide command. :-)
Thanks in advance.

Try grub2-efi-x86_64 and latest archboot iso which supports uefi boot.

Perhaps you would like to try .....isomaster...which allows one to modify an existing .iso and ..save...it as modified.

Available thru pacman.

Thank you. Now I'm trying Archboot. It looks great, but a problem occurred when it comes to install packages.
Error msg shows that there is no /src/core-* found.
I think we should mount those direction manually.
BUT I don't know how. :-(
Help! Tons of thanks.

Re: [SOLVED] How can I modify the ArchLinux Installation ISO

I've used Archboot to install. It's awesome!
And what tortures me was the Install Pacages step. For some reason it cannot mount core-* direction automatically in my USB stick, I can only use net install.
What's more, I used MBR partition table rather than GPT as well as grub2 rather than grub2-efi. They all work well.
