Transparent SOCKS redirector

Hey,
I want to redirect all of my TCP and UDP connections to a SOCKS proxy. I found the tool redproxy (Transparent redirector of any TCP connection to proxy using your firewall) but it is missing UDP support. Do you know tools with a similar functionality? I could also use tsocks, but I have to call that every time I want to use it or only lasts for the corresponding terminal, so no support for automated program calls.
