yeah, the arch wiki is good i found it a bit confusing when trying to set up the config file, and the samba manual was more difficult to read.

a video tutorial would be handy to watch. so i am wondering if there are any out there. I have come across a few bad ones on youtube.

samba IS confusing.
I recommend using swat to configure. (I hate samba)

yeah, i might give that a go. right now i have samba and gamin installed, following the wiki. I'm getting there but it can be tricky sometimes.
