Howto mount Novell NetStorage?

hello!
i'm trying to mount my university's NetStorage. I think it's some kind of webdav because i can mount it under kde and access it through konqueror via the webdav protocol. But i have a quite minimal setup and want to avoid kde and its dependencies (i just tried it to see if mounting works). After some research, trial and error i found some cli apps (cadaver, davfs2, ncpfs) but none of them worked . Does kde manage webdav in another way or what do i have to consider? my password contains a bracket ( " ...)... " ), could this cause an error?
