[solved] How to keep custom kernel up to date

I want to create a "hardened" custom kernel (with grsecurity) and I'm pretty clear on how to do that. I followed the Kernel Compilation wiki entry.

What I don't understand is how - once installed - I keep the kernel up to date. The standard kernel26 kernel gets updated with pacman -Su automatically, but what about a custom one? What's the easiest way to keep a custom kernel up to date?

manually.

you can create an AUR package and upload it there so others can use it as well, if they want. If you are the maintainer of the AUR package, every time there is an update upstream, you will have to update the AUR package.
