Pretty typical stuff for me -- but with a little added excitement because one of my favourite bands put out a new album
I've seen young people waste their time reading books about sensitive vampires. It's kinda sad. But you say it's not the end of the world... Well, maybe it is!

Perhaps a little late, but would you be so kind to share your .Xdefaults or .Xresources? Loving those colors!
I've gradually been getting more and more things into a unified yellow-and-black look in XMonad:

Care to share that wallpaper?

If you can't sit by a cozy fire with your code in hand enjoying its simplicity and clarity, it needs more work. --Carlos Torres

Dead Milkmen rule!
Nice and simple setup too. You just gave me an idea for TODO management. Since I use emacs + org-mode to plan and keep track of my activities anyway, I'll just write something to make my next planned activity appear in the dwm bar. The statuscolors patch will be of great help since I can make the message urgent so I'll have no excuse for missing a deadline

My todo is considerably simpler: I just test which day it is in my status script, and print a message depending on the day of the week. Lately my working schedule has me focusing on different things each day, so it's just a small reminder. But if I actually used some sort of organizer or calendar program, I'd do something more like what you've suggested.
And yes, The Dead Milkmen certainly do rule
By the way, you mentioned setting Emacs to use two different fonts depending on the language. Could you share that part of your config?
