Nice and simple setup too. You just gave me an idea for TODO management. Since I use emacs + org-mode to plan and keep track of my activities anyway, I'll just write something to make my next planned activity appear in the dwm bar. The statuscolors patch will be of great help since I can make the message urgent so I'll have no excuse for missing a deadline big_smile

My todo is considerably simpler: I just test which day it is in my status script, and print a message depending on the day of the week. Lately my working schedule has me focusing on different things each day, so it's just a small reminder. But if I actually used some sort of organizer or calendar program, I'd do something more like what you've suggested.

And yes, The Dead Milkmen certainly do rule smile

By the way, you mentioned setting Emacs to use two different fonts depending on the language. Could you share that part of your config?
