Wicd with Multiple APs with same SSID

Ok, so I've been using wicd to managed my wireless.  It works great.  My scenario is this.

I have many AP's in my office that are the same SSID.  I would like to connect to a specific AP
to do some testing but wicd keeps connecting to the one with the most signal strength.

My Question is, is there a way to override that behavior and force it to connect to this one AP?

Thanks!

Re: Wicd with Multiple APs with same SSID

Go to the network properties and uncheck "Use these settings for all networks sharing this essid".

Edit:
And probably uncheck "Automatically connect to this network".
