Thanks, done.

What's the harm anyway in someone knowing my IP, I doubt they can bruteforce my ssh... plus I'm behind NAT?
IRC for example has whole bunch of hostmasks displaying around...

Finally worked out how to effectively set a different tmux status bar depending on whether in X or TTY

What on earth for? How is his IP any more valuable than any other IP chosen at random?

There is no harm at all. That guy watches too many movies.

URXVT full screen with openbox, each tab can be a computer with different tmux apparences, zsh, weechat, mcabber, conky in the background, tty-clock, archey, gmusicbrowser.

wait, you obtained some sort of "tiling" in a single window of urxvt?
that's great (!), but i fear rather unusable: why don't you just use a tiling-wm?
so that you can have those "tabs" in differents tags if needed?

also, look for some nice colors for your terminal wink

It's ttytter running under screen, those are excerpts from my timeline.
And of course Bossi is just bluffing; only he is bluffing with italians' future (stopping here the matter, it's far OT)

Indeed it'a bit tiling like, but it's tmux doing the splitting, so I can get the screen back from another place (usually work) and that rocks. Whereas with a tiling manager you can't get all the windows back from a ssh session (at least easily). So tmux is kinda my WM for terminal stuff smile
