I'm getting the same error (no solution, just a confirmation):
** (jumanji:4264): WARNING **: Error loading plugin: libhspell.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
When I enable privoxy, jumanji segfaults on certain websites; with privoxy disabled, no more segfaults, but still the same (non-fatal) error message. Happens with both jumanji-git and jumanji-new_webgtk-git, both pulled from git a few hours ago.

Hello,
I'm getting the same error (no solution, just a confirmation):

OK, I can reproduce it and it is caused by libsoup in their soup_uri_copy function. I did not have the time but probably using the git version of libsoup fixes that.

Ok, I'll give it a shot and report back!

That was a bit overambitious for me: building libsoup-git from the AUR, glib2-newest is missing in the repos/AUR, but that was easily remedied by editing the PKGBUILD to use glib2-git. In the end it turned out I have too many dependencies on libsoup that start complaining when I use the git version (like gvfs). So to solve a minor problem (segfaults when use privoxy on some (highly trusted) websites) I had to rebuild a lot, while I was finally happy with my system's performance.
To wrap it up, I'll keep using jumanji as my main browser (the ^p proxy-toggle works great) and hopefullly the issue will be addressed soon in a future update of the regular libsoup.
Thanks and best regards

Hello,
Is it just me or is it that anytime I try and browse to a github respiratory jumanji fails and quits.
Works for me, which webkit version are you using?
Best regards

btw, with libwebkit 1.4.1-1 jumanji segfaults every time it loads any page
I solve this by downgrading to 1.4.0-2

I've got a lot of segfault too, and github makes it crash.
What I love about jumanji, except the vim-like bindings, is the ability to browse entirely without a keyboard.
Unfortunately, jumanji is not as advanced as my firefox + addons.
So, I just discovered the Mouseless browsing plugin and I must say it is great !
You see all the links as numbers that you can type directly, it's very nice, you should try it

I don't see any reason to switch back to the bloated and slow firefox. Jumanji covers all my needs and is pretty stable with gtk2.

I'm getting a segmentation fault when trying to load flash such as on youtube.com or dailymotion. Midori and luakit can load the sites fine so I figure its not a webkit problem.

Are you using jumanji-new_webgtk-git? I had flash problems with that too; the 'normal' jumanji-git works fine for me on youtube.

As far as I know the flash plugin is not compatible (yet) with the latest webkit version (and so the new_webgtk branch).

Actually I am using jumanji-git.

Yeah, me too. jumanji-git crashes when I go to a flash site:

How do you go to a bookmark in Jumanji? I see how you can save a bookmark, but don't see how you load them and use them.

Open ('o' or 't') and on the blank line use tab; first search engines will be listed, then bookmark entries and finally history.

yep, jumanji-git (not any new version, just the -git) crashes instantly of after a few seconds.
thought it was xmonad somehow. now thinking otherwise.
brilliantly cool to have newsbeuter able to open a tabable jumanji in xmonad.
thank you!
UPDATE: Ha! the new fancy:-) webkit version work great here!

I have just installed jumanji-new_webgtk-git and I really do like it. The hinting does not yet work perfectly, as the elements seem to be misplaced, but it's definitely getting better and better (and it's so faaaast!).

jumanji just removed plugin blocker? does anyone know how can i block flash with jumanji

Oh, finally they added a :print command to call the gtk printing interface. Now this is going to be my browser of choice.

I'm in doubt about if I should change to the gtk3 branch or just stay with the old gtk2 one... Could you please tell me what your plans are, I mean is the gtk3 branch where the main development effort is going on now, and do you plan to retire the gtk2 one in the feuture, or are you going to just keep them both ?
Also, do you expect to use giara with jumanji soon in the main branch, or is there long time to that...
Just curious about the development...

I get a segmentation fault when I run 'jumanji gamespot.com'. The site gets loaded about 70-90% and then jumanji crashes. Trying to open gamespot in another tab makes the browser crash all the same.
Edit: Please disregard this post, a rebuild fixed it.

I get a segmentationfault when i close some tabs with flash content in them (I believe it's only with flash sites, but not sure). For example, open http://jhaudio.com/collection-promusic.php#8 in a new tab. Let it load, and then close it. Do you guys get a segfault doing that to?

I too get a segmentation fault when using jumanji from the unofficial user repos, but the one from AUR https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=38684 works fine.
