quicktime plugin for Firefox??

Hi,
Is there a plugin for viewing quicktime videos in firefox?

i don't know for sure but maybe mplayer-plugin would work. i know it plays windows media and such with the correct codec installed.

Mplayer-plugin works wonderfully for quicktime files.

Kern: Oh man, I'll have to try that out... :shock:

Edit: On second thought, I'll have to try Mozplugger out. Mozplugger does the same thing as that Firefox extension, but is probably a better solution, since it doesn't require you to use Firefox.

The mplayer-plugin is definately the best choice. Because you won't have to bother with codecs all over. Just the ones you're using for mplayer normally.

Check to see if you have any VLC plugins in /opt/mozilla-plugins/  There is a VLC bug where it overrides the mplayer plugin and gives you a nopicture error.  There should be two vlc plugins there.. just delete them both and restart firefox.
