Sure, you can simply 'pacman -U <list of packages>' or create a custom local repo https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Cu … repository
This assumes you have the install disc and you don't want to re-download all the current packages to the second computer.

Install a base system from the live CD. Once partitioned and populated, copy the contents of /var/cache/pacman/pkg from the "old" system to the "new" system and update.
CPU-optimized Linux-ck packages @ Repo-ck • AUR packages • Zsh and other configs

Update how? 'pacman -Syu'?
Would it work w/o a new local db?

It will download from the internet but since most packages are downloaded already the amount of packages needed for download will be much smaller.

Seems you have an existing linux installation so simply follow this wiki article :: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/In … ting_Linux
There's no such thing as a stupid question, but there sure are a lot of inquisitive idiots !

sorry if i reply only now
however i haven't a local network, the computer is one and i haven't a second hd or usb-flash, and the time to backup, so
i must overwrite the old installation with a new installation. i must install archlinux from an existing archlinux environment
then i've read the latest link, the wiki about installing from existing linux and i think that method doesn't fit for my problem.
i re-formulate my problem: i need the tips to use during the installation of my existing /var
