Hello everybody, I have a problem getting my wireless network working.
I already installed the necessary driver and wicd sees the network but is not getting connection.
Some friends of archlinux-br are helping me so far but still can not solve everything.
Start wicd was not finding networks more this has been solved now wicd connects to network but can not open any page.
We've tried to ping, change / etc / resolv.conf but no solution yet.
If anyone has any suggestions I appreciate it.
Thank you.

I am afraid I just cannot read the pictures you posted. Unless your router user WPA or WPA2, I would like to not use wicd for now.
Lets make sure the wifi is working. can you post the output of iwlist scan ??

Ouch. That might be why wicd is letting you down.
Um... Do you know the ESSID of the router? Do you know if it is open, WEP, or WPA/WPA2 ?

Thank you Marxav,
Still carry on with my fight here, wicd can see on the networks but to get the same ip it says it was not possible.
What could prevent this?
I think the problem is to recognize on which network it is connecting, I've read several texts of the wiki but so far nothing: /

What do you mean by getting the same IP?
What exact message do you get?
Is WEP configured correctly?
No that you have few thing working, you might want to post the output of iwconfig and ifconfig.
Offline
You can use the proprietary driver, your configuration seems fine to me.
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Br … roadcom-wl
You can also try to use the kernel's one, tts working badly, but its working...
Just revert the modules blacklisted (ssb and b43) and blacklist the wl one. If you ends up with a similar problem, maybe your problem is not comming from the driver.

Sorry for the delay responding, I was running through here.
I formatted it again and this time I installed networkmanager, I tested yesterday at a friend's house and the network it funciounou so the problem is in my setup, it connects but does not load the pages or the ping.
Using WEP key, I'll give it a read deeper into the part of the configuration of networks, yet no idea of what might be.
Thanks again for the help everyone.

I do not understand.
I posted the previous message by windows since the wifi was not picking up on my network in the arch.
Reset to the arch and take wifi without me doing anything.
I ran some commands to identify what is currently running as probably go down again like before.
