[SOLVED]What was this program? (it was privoxy!)

Hi,

I remember reading about a program in these forums couple of months ago, but I
can't remember the name. It was a proxy server running in your computer, and
striping away unwanted parts of webpages, like ads.

I want to try it out but unfortunately I can't remember its name.

I think there are quite many of those solutions.

Another possibility is squid + adzapper:
