Hi there,
As a previous satisfied nc10 owner I just got my nf310 netbook from samsung. It comes with the atom n550 processor which supports 64 bit. And now there's my question: Should I install the 64bit version of arch? I never really thought about it deeply with my other systems, I just installed 64bit if the processor supported it, but do you think maybe I will LOOSE some performance on my netbook other than having a little bit more memory usage in comparison to 32bit? I should probably also mention that I upgraded the internal 1gb of ram to the hardware maximum of 2gb. Amusingly my main reason to worry with 64bit linux is STILL flash. especially on netbooks ![]()
what do you guys think?

I wouldn't bother, I see little advantage to 64 bit and it consumes almost twice the amount of RAM. That's my opinion anyways...
Philosophy is looking for a black cat in a dark room. Metaphysics is looking for a black cat in a dark room that isn't there. Religion is looking for a black cat in a dark room that isn't there and shouting "I found it!". Science is looking for a black cat in a dark room with a flashlight.

I would. I have had little to no issues with flash on x86_64 as of lately (other than flash sucks in general). At this point, I see no reason not to use Arch64 on all (3) of my 64 bit systems. Multilib comes in handy when need be, too.
