Will an HSPA express card modem work with Arch?

Hi!

I want to buy mobilinternet for my notebook, but I need external antenna. Because I didn't want to buy WLAN hotspot modem or USB stick + WLAN router, and the available USB sticks don't have external antenna connectors, I want to buy an express card. Option GT Express HSDPA modem. It's very cheap at the moment, without loyalty, so I'd like to buy it, but I never used my notebook's express card or PCMCIA slot yet (it has both), don't know it works or not, nobody has these kind of cards, so I can't try it out... and of course I don't know if this modem will work or not.
So, should I buy it? How can I install a card like this?

What, so everyone's supposed to sleep every single night now? You realize that nighttime makes up half of all time?

It's better for you to provide the model you want to pick. It seems that the vendor have released GPL-licensed driver for at least some models.
You may actually search the model, the vendor with wordings like "linux" or "linux driver"in the Internet. If  it works with Linux, most probably any distro will do.
