scientific filesystem choice

hi to everybody,

i am going to format my pc with arch and because i must modify my partition i want to "refresh" partition filesystem

i've read many and many articles, phoronix bench, etc, etc, ............ and i have understand that a filesystem is better than another one according to files dimension in the partition......

ok, how much big should these file be ?
